Hi Jayne,

I am very happy that i got Leeyan’s engagement ring with DFNZ, we’re been getting lots of comments about how nice it is and Leeyan really likes it.

I asked Leeyan to marry me last friday when we were hiking up in the Southern Alps, to which she said YES!

At some point we’d like to talk  to you about wedding rings for both Leeyan and myself. Do you think we need to schedule a trip up to Auckland from Christchurch?

Sally & Jared’s Wedding

Monday, February 18th, 2013

Sally Wallace is last years winner of the Wedding ring to the value of $2500.00.

Sally and Jared were married on the 18th of February 2012 at Pudding Hill Lodge, Methven.

Sally’s thoughts on the day:
I woke up to wall to wall sunshine, it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere was chilled out and all the preparations went without too much of a hitch. The wait for the 3pm ceremony went so slowly because I couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle. Jared had arranged for a mint 1984 Toyota Corolla to pick me up, as he loves older Toyotas.

At the start of the aisle I walked past both my husband’s and my own motorbikes - he must have made a great entrance arriving on his bike with his Dad on my bike! The hair, make up, flowers and the dress had the desired effect on the groom as he was visibly moved as I walked up to him. Jared looked so gorgeous in his suit and it took a lot for me to hold it together emotionally too.

My nerves about the vows melted away as we held each others hands and looked into each other eyes. Problem was that the sun had been replaced with cloud by this time creating the perfect conditions for sandflies! Fortunately for us our celebrant, Greg Downing, is a light hearted and entertaining minister so he made a joke out of the fact that I was getting eaten alive!

Walking back down the aisle as man and wife was such a great feeling. We were surrounded by everyone we cared about and everyone was happy. We cut the fabulous cake that our friend had made us there and then - with a toast of champagne, perfect.

Thank you so much to Diamonds Forever for both my dn-sj-2532.jpg

gorgeous Saphire engagement ring and my fabulous diamond wedding ring.

They match perfectly!

All the best

Scott & Jenni’s Proposal

Wednesday, November 21st, 2012

Scott proposed to Jenni in the fresh powder on a beautiful snow covered slope in the back country of Mt Ruapehu on the 7th October 2012 in an area called Solitude. Mt Ruapehu is special to them because that’s where Scott taught Jenni to snowboard and they both have spent a lot of time together there. Scott had spraypainted ‘will you marry me’ on the slope, he boarded down to Jenni, unstrapped one foot so he could get down on one knee and propose. There was a slight mishap when the ring dropped in the snow but luckily it was quickly salvaged.

What a truly spectacular moment and a memory that will last forever.

Diamonds Forever wishes you both every success for your future and we look forward to receiving the amazing wedding photos from your happy day.
